Soon after its launch we were approached by New Yorker to create a (very!) quick turnaround set of animations for the brand to use at a big European trade show they were due to exhibit at.
We had the call for the job on a Thursday, had outline designs and concepts completed & signed off the next morning & the sequence animated for the following day – all in time for the client to use at a trade show a couple of days later.
The idents were intended to get someone’s attention while they were walking around the exhibition space, for them to then interact with the stand. After this they were used on Social Media
As a note, the unusually tight turnaround was possible for this project because of a couple of key factors:
– There wasn’t any filming, music or voiceover required
– The client already had most of the required imagery to hand & it was in a professional design format our animator could work with, without too much setup time
