Multiple – Post Production services for several of Dorling Kindersley’s ‘How To’ publications
Pixel Assist has provided post-production services for several series of ‘how to’ videos included with a number of Dorling Kindersley’s publications.
For the publication referenced in the images above the original videos delivered to the client (made by another supplier) were not of a suitable standard for use. Owing to the amount of work a re-shoot would have required and time available in the publication timeline, it was agreed that the best course of action was to re-work the current videos for use.
Pixel Assist obtained the camera files from the shoot, loaded them onto our edit systems & created new versions of each of the videos to the clients brief.
We then booked a recording studio in London, close to the client’s office for their convenience, and had new voice-overs recorded. This allowed the client to attend the recording sessions, and gave them direct input into the re-working of the project.
The new voice-overs were added to the re-edited & re-finished material and the new videos delivered for use.
