Corona Extra is a drinks brand synonymous the world over with friends and good times. Occupying a premium brand position, it's undoubtedly one of Mexico's best-known and most loved cultural exports.

Over the course of 7 years, we completed hundreds of projects for the Corona Extra brand and its distributors across Europe.


A big part of Corona’s strategy was ‘Above the Line’ promotions and sponsorship of key events targeting the brands key consumer demographics.

We provided coverage of an eclectic mix of events and sponsorships including the Suzuki Alstare Superbike team, ATP Tennis Tournament, major Polo events and the Subaru Rally Team. The ‘Above the line’ promotions we worked on included the ‘Movida Corona’ DJ contests, ‘Save the Beach’ campaigns and ‘Corona Weeks’ events.

The work was a mix of film and photo coverage of the activities which took us across Europe and further afield, often involving multi-camera shoots and short turnaround times.

Other notable projects included producing a TV ad for the Danish market using a ‘motion capture’ rig to capture dynamic moving shots of a bottle of Corona, & sending 2 camera cars and three crews to cover the ‘Cannonball 8000’ rally across Europe.
